Sass & Bide 'The Flying Machine' neckpiece,  Ksubi 'Albuquerque' denim cut-offs, Sass & Bide "The Rumour' dress, Oroton 'Marrakech' sunglasses, second hand boots (similar), Marc Jacobs fold over clutch and Sass & Bide ring set and bracelet.

NB: Everytime I list the items I'm wearing I am surprised by how much Sass & Bide is in there. Sheesh. 

I do not deem this look as perfectly edited or covering any trends that are making me giddy at the moment, however, I love the more is more approach and the spectrum of colour contained within just a few pieces.

The top is a mini dress that I folded underneath so I could wear it with my shorts. I wore this to a friend's day-time birthday  dig and loved being able to put my own spin on it with the boots and shorts, rather than as a cocktail dress.  

The age old case of 'wardrobe full but nothing to wear' seems to haunt me with dresses whereas separates make me feel like 'me' and can easily be rearranged to create whole different outfits with different personas.  As, I am a tall and do like the way shorts + tops + jackets break my bean-like body up.  Anyway, the moral of the story is... I really need to invest in an alternative to my scruffy yet cherished denim shorts.  It is not chic to have one's ass cheek hanging out at the wrong occasion.  I am thinking a leather skirt or black shorts are a must.  Am also loving these velvet Sass & Bide Zipporas,.  More Bide, (doh!).

A SLEW OF STRIPES, SPOTS AND SPACE-AGE DIGITAL PRINT ASSAULTED THE LENSES AT MERCEDES-BENZ AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK.  IT SEEMS JOSH GOOT WAS A PIONEER THOSE FEW YEARS AGO, SPURRING WHAT WAS TO BE A TECHNO TREND TO RIVAL NO OTHER. AUSSIES DO IT PRINT ON PRINT; ANYTHING GOES - A SPOT OF LEOPARD IS ALWAYS A WELCOME EXTRA! 

FROM STREET TO STAGE: PSYCHEDELIC KALEIDOSCOPICA, RETRO GEOMETRY AND ORGANIC MOTIFS. MMM MMMM.  2012 FASHION WEEK NO SHOW JOSH GOOT AND NEWCOMER GRADUATE NATALIA GRYZYBOWSKI WOULD HAVE FIT IN LIKE A TREAT.  THEIR DESIGNS ARE STRIKINGLY SIMILAR AND I BELIEVE POINT TO WHAT WE WILL SEE MUCH MORE OF IN COMING MONTHS. BREATHTAKING. I AM ACTUALLY SUFFOCATING HERE.

My look for Coachella Day 3 

I was photographed by TOPSHOP style hunters for their Tumblr and facebook.

I'd saved my Camilla kimono coat for the last day of the festival as I knew it had the power to make me feel brand new after three days of sex, drugs & rock n roll (ha). 

I wore it with my favourite Ksubi denim shorts of which I think I am up to my fifth pair. I literally wear them until they disintegrate.

My belt is made from turquoise found on Native American Zuni tribal grounds and is from one of sickest stores in existence, Jessie Western on Portobello Road, London. I need to go back when I am a professional ladeh and earning enough to buy more than their smallest belt buckle. 

The camera was certainly not meant to be a fashion statement haha. I had managed to take NO photos the previous days and needed to get into it.  

I failed miserably. 

Oh well, that must mean I was completely lost in the moment.

P.S. This font gives me the hives I wish there were better ones.

I ♡ COLOUR!

I brought a cliche to life today - and cleaned out my closet.

Skeletons in the form of my old hippie garb, those boots that are two sizes too small(but I love them)and about 500 of those wrist-stack bracelets have finally been ousted.

My newly edited and half the size 'drobe looks like a wee rainbow now, a sign of the times I think - colour is it.   

My new neon acid neckpiece, tops it off perfectly and in the image above is sat atop my fave Camilla Franks caftan, an oldie but a goodie.

Was enjoying a leisurely morn' photographing product for Peach State and thought I'd float around in my new favourite pieces and show you some self-timer goodness.  These are mainly from Australian designer sass & bide.  I work for them and love their clothes and doubly love (and live) their whole vibe/ethos they have goin' on.

Love the contradiction between my sloppy-joe jumper and throw-on sneakers with that iridescent sparkle of sequins that screams of glam and/or prom night.

Home sweet home after a brief sojourn in the land of the free; 

the U, S of A.  

We survived the wrath of Coachella and it was just as dreammyy as it was freezing cold.  Las Vegas offered surprisingly ahmazing shopping with Fashion Show Mall stirring feelings deep within my soul.  Instagram manages to do this also, so here are a few of my good'ns.
